Institut français du Royaume-Uni

TCF

The Institut français du Royaume-Uni offers TCF Canada on paper rather than computer, at 14 Cromwell Place in South Kensington. Registration closes well in advance, usually about 4–6 weeks before the exam, and sessions can sell out before then. Sessions are almost always on Fridays, roughly once a month.

How this centre releases seats

Live seat counter
The centre lists each date with the seats left, and seats can appear at any time when dates are added or someone cancels.

Tips from candidates and the centre

  • Expect a paper-based test here, not a computer one.
  • Deadlines come early: the 20 November 2026 session closed on 12 October 2026, for example.
  • Sessions are nearly always on Fridays, roughly monthly, with breaks in winter and summer.
  • The session list showed no oral date for the October 2026 session, so if you need all four tests on one day, check with the exam centre first.
  • You must be 16 or over to sit the exam.
