This is history, not a forecast. IRCC chooses the type and size of every round, so future cut-offs can be higher or lower.
French draws were 112 points lower
Over the last 12 months, French-language proficiency draws had an average cut-off of 405, against 517 for Canadian Experience Class and other program draws (14 and 22 draws).
With 450, you'd have cleared 14 of 14 French draws and 0 of 22 program draws.
To enter French draws you need NCLC 7 or higher in all four French skills. The same results also add up to 50 additional CRS points.

How it works
Your score against real draws, nothing invented
The checker compares your score with IRCC's published rounds of invitations. It never guesses a future cut-off.
We take only the draws you could enter
Draws open to everyone are always counted. Canadian Experience Class, French, provincial nominee and occupation draws count only when you tick them, because IRCC only invites eligible profiles in those rounds.
Each draw has one cut-off
The cut-off is the lowest CRS score invited in that round. If your score is at or above it, you'd have received an invitation to apply (ITA). At exactly the cut-off, the tie-breaking time decides.
We summarise 3, 6 or 12 months
You see how many draws you'd have cleared, the lowest, median and latest cut-offs, and how many points separate you from each.
A nomination changes everything
A provincial nomination adds 600 points. That's why provincial nominee draw cut-offs are so high: they already include those points.
Worked example
Example: Priya, CRS 430
An illustrative profile, not a real person. Priya is 29, has no Canadian work experience and a CRS score of 430.
- Canadian Experience Class and other program draws averaged 517 over the last 12 months, and a score of 430 met 0 of 22. Without Canadian work experience she can't enter Canadian Experience Class draws anyway.
- French-language proficiency draws in the same period: 13 of 14 came down to 430 or lower. They averaged 405.
Her best move is French, not a few more points elsewhere: reaching NCLC 7 in all four skills opens French draws and adds up to 50 additional points.
