How to book at Institut français du Sénégal

  1. On ifs.sn, open Examens and choose the TCF Canada or TEF Canada calendar.

  2. Select a session and click “Ajouter au panier” (add to cart).

  3. Create an account and pay online via TouchPay, by card, Orange Money, Free Money, Wizall, E-Money or Yup.

  4. Or pay in cash or by card at the desk at 89 rue Joseph Gomis.

  5. Keep your confirmation email. Your receipt is also stored under “Comptabilité” in your account.

Tips from candidates and the centre

  • In late September 2026, the only TCF Canada sessions on sale were 16 and 17 December 2026 (08:00 to 15:00), with 12 places per sitting, and no TEF Canada sessions were on sale. Online registration for those December sittings was due to close on 30 September 2026, so ask the institute about later dates.
  • Wave can’t be used for online payment.
  • Session changes are allowed up to 3 weeks before the exam date. Exam fees are not refundable.
  • If you miss the exam, let the institute know within 8 days. Your supporting documents go to France Education international (TCF) or CCI Paris Île-de-France (TEF) for approval.
