The Institut français du Liban in Beirut offers TCF Canada, not TEF Canada, and only on computer. It publishes a yearly calendar (PDF) that gives a registration deadline for each date, but places are limited and a date can fill before its deadline. You register by contacting the language centre directly.

How to book at Institut français du Liban

  1. Download the Beirut TCF 2026 calendar (PDF) and pick a TCF Canada date.

  2. Note that date’s registration deadline, which is about 2–4 weeks before the exam, and aim to register well before it.

  3. Register by contacting the language centre at [email protected] or on 01 420 272/3.

  4. Pay the EUR 215 TCF Canada fee. The calendar lists fees in euros.

How this centre releases seats

Announced booking window
The centre announces when booking opens for a batch of dates. Seats usually go in the first hours, so be ready at the opening time.

Tips from candidates and the centre

  • TCF Canada runs almost every month. On the 2026 calendar, the 6–8 October session’s deadline was 17 September; the later dates are 3–5 November (deadline 15 October) and 1–3 December (deadline 12 November).
  • All TCF sessions here are on computer only.
  • Don’t rely on the deadline alone. Registration depends on places, and a date can sell out sooner.
  • Papers are marked in France and results take about 6 weeks, so allow a buffer before any IRCC deadline.
  • You have to pick up your attestation in person at the Institut français du Liban.
