Alliance Française Abu Dhabi

TCFTEF

Alliance Française Abu Dhabi sells e-TEF Canada and TCF Canada sessions online, each roughly once a month, and places are limited. The centre says it is the only one in Abu Dhabi recognised to deliver the French tests Canada accepts, so if your date fills there’s no other local centre. Book early, before the cut-off.

How to book at Alliance Française Abu Dhabi

  1. Find a date in the 2026 exam calendar (PDF) or the list on the TEF Canada or TCF Canada page at afabudhabi.org.

  2. Choose a date that still shows “Add to cart” and book it online while its registration window is open.

  3. Pay and fill in your details online, uploading a copy of your passport. Both are needed to confirm your registration.

  4. For e-TEF Canada, also provide the completed and signed registration form the booking system asks for. TCF Canada doesn’t need it.

  5. Look out for the convocation email with timings and guidelines before the exam.

How this centre releases seats

Live seat counter
The centre lists each date with the seats left, and seats can appear at any time when dates are added or someone cancels.

Tips from candidates and the centre

  • Sessions usually fall on a Friday, but in December they’re on Wednesdays: TEF Canada on December 9 and TCF Canada on December 16.
  • TEF Canada registration closes 10 days before the exam date, so don’t leave it late.
  • Dates do sell out. The October 9, 2026 TEF Canada session already showed “Full” on September 27, making November 6 the next open TEF date at that point.
  • Once the registration period ends, fees can’t be refunded or transferred.
  • TEF Canada results are emailed from about 2 weeks after the exam date.
