Daily French quiz: today’s 10-question challenge

Défi du jour

Ten mixed questions, the same for everyone today and new tomorrow: words, genders, verb forms, connectors and a number. It takes about three minutes and is the simplest way to keep French in your day.

10 mixed questions, the same for everyone today. Play once a day to keep your streak.

How to play

  1. 1Answer 10 questions: vocabulary, un or une, verbs, connectors and a number.
  2. 2Everyone gets the same challenge today, and a new one tomorrow.
  3. 3Play once a day to keep your streak.

What it trains

A little of everything the exam builds on: everyday vocabulary from 12 exam themes, noun gender, verb forms in the main tenses, the connectors that structure a text, and numbers.

Why it matters for TCF and TEF Canada

TCF and TEF Canada reward French you can use without stopping to think. Short, regular contact keeps vocabulary and verb forms active between your longer study sessions and mock tests.

Rules and tips to remember

  • Give it a fixed time

Tie the quiz to something you already do every day, like your morning coffee or the bus ride. A streak grows when the habit has a fixed place.

  • Say the corrections aloud

When you miss a question, the results screen shows the right answer. Say it aloud once: a correction you produce yourself sticks better than one you only read.

  • Use it as a warm-up

Three minutes of mixed questions before a mock test or a writing task gets your French switched on.
