Alliance Française de Calgary

TCFTEF

Alliance Française de Calgary offers both TEF Canada and TCF Canada, with dates posted month by month on its registration pages. You only see whether a date is open or SOLD OUT, not how many seats are left, and each session has room for just 10 people. Exams take place at the Kahanoff Centre testing site, not at the main campus.

How to book at Alliance Française de Calgary

  1. Go to the TEF or TCF registration-process page and look for a month marked “Registrations” rather than “SOLD OUT”.

  2. Choose your date and pay by credit card. Places are first-come, first-served and fees are not refunded.

How this centre releases seats

Dates added without warning
New dates appear on the centre’s page without an announced opening time. Checking often, or getting an alert, is the only way to catch them.

Tips from candidates and the centre

  • With only 10 seats per session, months can sell out fast, so book as soon as you see an open date.
  • Calling about dates won’t help: the TEF/TCF manager works remotely and has no phone line, and reception cannot add anything. Send questions about the exam itself to [email protected].
  • Bring two valid pieces of ID, at least one with a photo.
  • Arrive at the time on your convocation. The room is closed to you once the exam begins.
  • Your phone is taken after the ID check and held until the end, breaks included.
  • There is no walk-in reception at the Kahanoff Centre. It is open on exam days to registered candidates only.
