How to book at Alliance Française de Katmandou

  3. Pay in Nepalese rupees, converted from the euro price at that month’s European Commission rate.

How this centre releases seats

Dates added without warning
New dates appear on the centre’s page without an announced opening time. Checking often, or getting an alert, is the only way to catch them.

Tips from candidates and the centre

  • Don’t look for TEF or TCF in the online exam shop: it only sells DELF and DALF.
  • The rupee amount moves each month with the European Commission exchange rate.
  • AF Katmandou students get 15% off, paying EUR 149 instead of EUR 175 for either exam.
  • The centre is in Pulchowk, Lalitpur, behind St Mary’s school, not in central Kathmandu.
  • The office is open Monday to Friday, 7 am–6 pm, and closed on weekends and holidays.
