Alliance Française de Delhi

TCF

Alliance Française de Delhi runs TCF Canada only, not TEF Canada. It publishes a calendar for the whole year and opens registration at 09:00 IST, online and at reception at the same moment. Seats go first-come, first-served and the centre says they often fill within minutes, so set up your account well before opening day.

How to book at Alliance Française de Delhi

  1. Download the centre’s TCF Canada calendar for the year and note the registration opening for the date you want.

  2. Create your online registration account ahead of time using a valid passport. Since January 2026, no other ID is accepted.

  3. At opening time (recently 09:00 IST), book and pay online, or join the queue at the AFD reception shortly before it opens.

Tips from candidates and the centre

  • Need TEF Canada instead? Delhi doesn’t offer it, so look at another Alliance Française in India.
  • Sessions have had 22 seats. Have your account set up and your payment method ready before registration opens.
  • You’ll be given one of two slots, written in the morning and oral after lunch or the other way round. Slots are assigned at random and sent by email.
  • On the day, bring your original passport and a printed copy of your convocation email. Latecomers are not let in.
  • From 1 September 2026, re-correction requests for TCF Canada are suspended for about a year. Raise any complaint about exam conditions on the day itself.
  • Reception is open Monday to Saturday, 8:30 to 17:00.
